sacred silver from the sixteenth to nineteenth century

The Cathedral Church of Salem is rich with four centuries of an important heritage of sacred art unique in the diocese. This year will dell'Arciprete created a museum of sacred art which are exhibited some elements of the rich treasure of the church.
In the Church of St. Augustine has been set up in addition to the museum that contains the rich silver and precious ornaments.
I suggest visit the museum and admire our artwork.
Here I report the massively images of the sacred silver that are still on display in the museum, I stress that these are some of the treasures that Mother Church has, it will soon set up an exhibition of gold and other sacred items.

At Church of St. Augustine, from Monday to Saturday you can visit, from 9.30 to 12.30, two museums. Vestments in the sacristy of the Matrix, other planets and Dalmatia 700, adorned with the golden embroideries of different colors. Also the silver in the crypts of the Matrix, other sacred vessels, reliquaries and other religious articles, a beautiful icon of St. Nicola and a painting of Gherardo delle Notti (assigned with uncertainty).
